POSITION DUTIES : Plan and administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs for patients to restore function, relieve pain & prevent disability following disease, injury or loss of body parts, working at rehabilitation center; review and evaluate physician's referral and patient's medical records to determine physical therapy treatment required; perform patient test, measurements and evaluation, such as range-of-motion and manual muscle tests, gait and functional analyses and body parts measurements & records & evaluate findings to aid establishing or revising specifics of treatment programs; administer manual therapeutic exercises to improve or maintain muscle function, applying precise amounts of manual force and guiding patient's body parts.
POSITION DUTIES : Assist physical therapists provide care to patients. Under the direction and supervision of physical therapists, they treat patients through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions.
POSITION DUTIES: Plan, organizes, & conduct OT program; recommend changes in individual work/living environment consistent with needs & capabilities. Consult w/ rehab team in selecting activity programs. Design special splints & braces. Train nurses & med staff in therapy techniques; complete & maintain records. BS in Occupational Therapy.
